چکیده

The study of lipopeptides and their related compounds produced by various living organisms from bacteria to marine invertebrates is fundamental interest for medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, practical clinical medicine. Using the principles retrosynthetic analysis linear cyclic peptides, pharmacological activity unique, unusual, rare fatty acids (FA) that are part natural was investigated. To search new biologically active metabolites sources, more than 350 FA incorporated into peptides isolated bacteria, cyanobacteria, microalgae, invertebrates, fungal endophytes, microorganisms sediments presented. Biological activities have been studied experimentally in laboratories, as well data obtained using QSAR (Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationships) algorithms. According obtained, several were identified demonstrated strong antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal, or antitumor activity. Along with this, found shown properties such antiviral, antidiabetic, anti-helmintic, anti-inflammatory, anti-psoriatic, anti-ischemic, anti-infective activities. In addition, potential regulators lipid metabolism, agents treatment acute neurological disorders, atherosclerosis multiple sclerosis. For 36 FA, 3D graphs presented, which demonstrate predicted calculated

Determination of Tocopherols and Fatty Acids in Seeds of

Background: The dried fruits of Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn (Compositae) contain silymarin, an isomeric mixture of flavonolignans. Silymarin acts as a strong anti -hepatotoxic. This fruits contains a high amount of oil .  Objective: The objective of this study was to determine total lipid content, fatty acid composition and content of different kind of tocopherols in seed oils of S. marianum...

Incorporated Fish Oil Fatty Acids Prevent Action Potential Shortening Induced by Circulating Fish Oil Fatty Acids

Increased consumption of fatty fish, rich in omega-3-polyunsaturated fatty acids (ω3-PUFAs) reduces the severity and number of arrhythmias. Long-term ω3-PUFA-intake modulates the activity of several cardiac ion channels leading to cardiac action potential shortening. Circulating ω3-PUFAs in the bloodstream and incorporated ω3-PUFAs in the cardiac membrane have a different mechanism to shorten t...

I-7: Fatty Acids and Male Reproductive Function

Background Background: The fatty acid composition of the sperm membrane changes drastically during spermatogenesis and may be key to its function. Previous data has shown that intake of long chain poly-unsaturated fatty acids can change the fatty acid composition of tissues, including testes and sperm. However, whether these changes in composition translate into changes in semen quality or male...

Histological and fatty acids changes in Caspian salmon (SalmotruttacaspiusKessler, 1877) fed diets with different levels of vitamins E and highly unsaturated fatty acids (HUFA)

In this study, the combined effect of different levels of dietary n-3 HUFAs with α-Tocopherol on changes in the structure of intestine and pyloric caeca and fatty acids profile of Caspian salmon, Salmotrutta caspius, fry (initial weight of 600 ± 25 mg for 10 weeks) were investigated. Six experimental diets containing three different dietary levels of n-3 HUFAs (Low: 1 + 0.5, DHA+ EPA, Med...

The Association of Omentin Gene Expression in Visceral and Subcutaneous Adipose Tissues with Plasma Fatty Acids Profile and Dietary Fatty Acids

Introduction: Omentin, an adipokine, with anti-inflammatory effects reduces insulin resistance, and can hence, play an important role in prevention of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. The present study aimed to investigate the association of plasma and dietary fatty acids with gene expression of omentin in visceral and subcutaneous adipose tissues. Materials and Methods: Visceral and subcut...
